The cat is out of the house and the mice are dancing in the garden.

Jenny and Gary are now on holiday in Vietnam and enjoying good food and some cold beers there.

Gerlinda hasn’t been lazy in the meantime either and has bought cuttings of flowers, plants and fruit trees.

Then we went into town today and bought pots and some gardening tools, while I used the time to do some filming at the public market in Dumaguete.

Here are a few impressions of Gerlinda behind the house doing her favourite thing.

Gerlinda began her flower planting hobby along the outer wall of our house. There are already a lot of flowers and other plants from one end to the other. People just happen to pass by are stopping and wondering why she planted flowers in large kawa (frying pans for canteens)

Now, she began planting more and more plants behind the house. There are lately a lot of cactus to find, most are still small.

Other flowers and plants are propagated from offshoots to grow.

A few new plants and flowers found there place here in the back. Some of them maybe strange or even rare to find.

How do I know?

A while ago Gerlinda got ideas not to threw old things away, but to use them with a few modifications into new decorations and flower pots.

If you are interrested how to grow dwarf coconut palms, just ask her, maybe she will tell you.

More to come from Gerlinda’s flower garden now and then.

Have a look sometimes at this website for updates.
